Postdoctoral Position in Immunology (m/f)

Our interdisciplinary and international research group studies basic mechanisms of hematopoiesis and the immune system using rare monogenetic disorders as paradigms. Our main focus lies on the identification of novel genetic defects based on next generation sequencing (NGS) and the development of innovative strategies for gene therapy. Currently, we are offering a Postdoc position with a focus on the identification and characterisation of novel human immune disorders and hematopoietic stem cell engineering using CRISPR/Cas9.

Your profile

  • Highly motivated scientist (PhD or MD) who shares our enthusiasm for science and clinical research
  • Documented expertise in immunological, cell biological and genetic experimental techniques
  • Flexibility, proactive attitude and strong interpersonal skills

The position

We offer challenging translational research projects in a stimulating interdisciplinary environment. The position is initially for 2 years. Salary will be based on the German public sector salary scheme (TV-L). Disabled persons will be preferentially considered in case of equal qualification.
