Our graduate training group "Integrated Analysis of Macromolecular Complexes and Hybrid Methods in Genome Biology" (GRK 1721; speaker: Karl-Peter Hopfner, scientific coordinator: Petra Runge-Wollmann) will be funded by the DFG for another 4.5 years.
The GRK 1721 brings together an interdisciplinary research team of ten project leaders from the LMU, the TUM and the Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry. Bernd Reif and Kathrin Lang (both TUM) als well as Don C. Lamb from the LMU Dept. of Chemistry are joining the structural biology training program as new members for the second funding period. Gregor Witte from the Gene Center, so far Co-PI, is now contributing his own project to the GRK.
