Nucleic acid quality control is essential for cellular homeostastis and to counteract cancer development and ageing. We are trying to understand how cells detect and resolve damage to DNA and RNA. We investigate these processes by combining various approaches including cell biology, genetic engineering, proteomics, and in vitro reconstitution. Read more...
