Master Thesis in molecular medicine / biology
We are seeking a highly motivated candidate for a Master Thesis in molecular medicine / biology. You should combine enthusiasm for science with an excellent degree in biology / biochemistry or similar. We expect you to work well in a highly international team (good English skills are mandatory) and have a solid background in molecular and cellular biology.
After some initial more intense supervision you are expected to work mostly independently. This includes the planning and the performing of experiments as well as the analyzation of the data and finally also the presentation of your results in the lab meeting, seminars etc.
The Thesis will deal with the establishment of a system to regulate different antigen targets on human cell lines to test a new generation of immunotargeting antibodies. It will include the following methods:
- Molecular Cloning
- Cell culture work
- Flow cytometry
- Fluorescence microscopy
- CRISPR/ Cas9
