Postdoc (m/f/d)

The working group „Translational Cancer Immunology“ at the Gene Center of the LMU Munich ( is seeking as soon as possible, initially limited for 1 year, a

PostDoc (m/f/d) (biochemistry, biology, biomedicine, human medicine or similar)
for a collaborative research project with a large industrial partner

Your area of responsibility:

• Supervision and independent experimental implementation of a research project in the area of checkpoint inhibition and GVHD after allogeneic bone marrow transplantation
• Design of experiments & integration into existing research activities
• Presentation of research results at national and international congresses
• Support in the supervision/coordination of various research
• Professional guidance and close cooperation between MTAs and doctoral students

Our requests:

• PhD in the field of life science
• Interest in translational research
• Commitment and a self-directed way of working
• Strong immunological background
• Team player with well-developed interpersonal abilities
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Solid practial experience in multicolor flow cytometry, multiplex-assays (e.g. Luminex), RNA sequencing and T cell biology
