Purpose of the course is to bring up students to the widely used programming language R. After an introduction, we will analyze biological data sets with statistical standard methods, visualize and discuss the results. Therefore, the students are highly encouraged (but not mandatory) to bring their own data sets to the course. Please send these data sets latest one week in advance to We aim on providing an interactive course, tailored to your needs.\\ The course is a preparation for analyzing sequencing data in the courses “Fundamentals of Data Analysis” and “Molecular Systems Biology“ and we therefore strongly recommend attendance. The R course will be held by Rick Scavetta from “Science Craft” : and we provide laptops with the required software during the course
