Julian Stingele is tenured now

Julian Stingele, who has joined the Gene Center in 2017 as an independent group leader, is now tenured professor of Cellular Biochemistry at the Department of Biochemistry.
Congratulations!
During his time at the Gene Center Julian received several prestigous prizes e.g. the Bayer Early Excellence in Science Award in 2019 and the Vallee Scholar Award in 2021. In 2018, he has been awarded an ERC starting grant to explore endogenous origins of DNA-protein crosslinks and the cellular responses to these crosslinks.
