Three Gene Center scientists once again named among the world’s most influential researchers

Seventeen LMU scientists and academics feature in the latest Highly Cited Researchers 2025 analysis of publications, recognizing them as among the most successful in their field.
The analysis divides publications into 21 fields and one interdisciplinary category and assigns the cited researchers to these rubrics accordingly.
Prof. Veit Hornung (Chair of Immunobiochemistry, Gene Center at LMU) and Prof. Marion Subklewe (Gene Center at LMU and Medical Clinic and Polyclinic III, LMU University Hospital) were ranked among the most highly cited researchers in the interdisciplinary category (Cross-Field). In the Immunology field, Prof. Christoph Klein (Director of Pediatric Clinic and Polyclinic, Dr. von Hauner Children’s Hospital and Gene Center at LMU) was recognized as one of the most highly cited researchers.
