The Gene Center Cryo-Electron Microscopy Core Facility (GC-CEM) Guidelines
The Gene Center cryo-electron microscopy core facility (GC-CEM) of the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München provides access to and advice on cryo-electron microscopy equipment and advice on sample preparation as well as data collection. Usage of the hardware is subject to usage fees. Please download the Gene Center Cryo-Electron Microscopy Core Facility (GC-CEM) Guidelines and read it carefully.
The core facility is located in the Biozentrum, Großhaderner Str. 2 in Martinsried
The three main rooms are located in the basement of the B wing of the Biozentrum, room numbers B.U 1.061, 1.065, and 1.059.
It is possible to apply for usage fees to be spent at the core facility in DFG grant applications according to the “Hinweise zu Gerätenutzungskosten und zu Gerätezentren” (http://www.dfg.de/formulare/55_04/index.jsp, Introduction and chapter on “Elektronenmikroskopie“).
